Not Your Average Workshop
Me and My Brand

The Marketing Boutique Sussex - Circus theme

We were delighted to be approached by Not Your Average I Do and Margot’s Wedding to run the marketing section of the Me and My Brand Workshop. Being a local business ourselves we wanted to share our knowledge on how to make the most of your business online and get noticed on Google. We hope you enjoyed the presentation and came away with some useful tips and tricks.

Here’s a recap of the day and what we learnt:

Anna Pumer – Wedding and Commercial Photographer – www.annapumerphotography.com

Anna is a local photographer, she has a website with a difference. It really conveys her personality. She took the decision to really portray who she is as a person through her website, meaning her clientele are like-minded people. Her pièce de résistance is the about me section which she feels is one of the most important pages on your website. Here she has some snippets of who she is as a person, her likes and dislikes and really creates a talking point when she speaks with potential clients.

Siobhan Young –  WellStyled – www.wellstyled.co.uk

Creative types often use the colour wheel when designing, however have you thought about using it when putting your outfits together? Do you know if you have a warm skin tone or a cool skin tone and how that effects the colour clothes you wear? These were all great examples of what you should be thinking about when choosing what to wear. Also think about who your audience is, what image you want to portray, do you want to give off a corporate image or a friendly approachable one?
